Yamhill CCO is informed by its community and guided by leadership whose focus is on the member

Board of Directors

Local people, business leaders and medical experts make up our Board of Directors. They believe in our work and are dedicated to a healthy community.

Yamhill CCO’s Board of Directors meets on the third Monday of every month from 3-5 pm. The meetings generally take place at the YCCO office (807 NE Third Street, McMinnville), and once per quarter at Providence Newberg Medical Center.

Quality and Clinical Advisory Panel (QCAP)

The Yamhill CCO Quality and Clinical Advisory Panel is responsible for promoting clinical and system practices to achieve the Triple Aim: improve care, improve health, lower cost. QCAP provides oversight and direction to the organization’s quality program, clinical initiatives that drive care transformation and associated quality and performance metrics.

The Early Learning Council (ELC)

Our community leaders work together to support you and your family. The Early Learning Council consists of parents, medical professionals, educators, and social service providers. . They advise the Yamhill CCO Board and work together to build a community that supports families and prepares children for success in school and in life.

The Early Learning Council:

  • identifies children and families who may need support
  • offers input to family support services
  • supports families of all cultures and ethnicities
  • expands early learning opportunities
  • monitors the success of the Early Learning Hub and identifies areas for improvement

Community Prevention and Wellness Committee (CPW)

By intervening early, we can achieve community-wide wellness for generations to come. That’s why we support programs that are proven to impact not only our members but the whole community with local investments in population health programs.

Community Prevention and Wellness

The Community Prevention and Wellness Committee is made up of representatives from several local non-profit organizations and agencies. As local residents, they have in-depth knowledge of the unique needs of our community and are committed to making it healthier.

  • Lutheran Community Services
  • Ford Family Foundation

Community Advisory Council (CAC)

The Community Advisory Council meets every month. They review the current health and future wellness of our community. They advise the YCCO Board of Directors and provide useful input to the health plan. 

The Community Advisory Council (CAC) develops the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). Projects to meet the Plan’s goals are managed by the CAC, too.

Projects to improve our community include:

  • Programs to help people plant gardens
  • Oral health education
  • Increasing activity and nutrition for kids and families
  • Sharing travel vouchers with people who need them

The Community Advisory Council is people like you who care about our community. You understand what it’s like to be an OHP member.

YCCO members, caregivers, YCCO staff, community members and people from other local programs serve on the Council. CAC welcomes all ages, genders, orientations, languages, races and abilities. If you want to be part of the council, please contact us. We want to hear from you!
